What is Aveiro Walk Around?

Aveiro Walk Around are completely free, informal walks, just like you would do with your friends, around the beautiful city of Aveiro. We'll give you brief explanations about the monuments, buildings, churches, museums, parks, etc. But that's not all! We can give you some tips about gastronomy, bars, even suggestions of other places to visit near Aveiro. 

We are not tourist guides, but we are “Aveirenses”, born and raised in Aveiro, with a great passion for our city, and our history. So we want to share it with the world. 

There's not a maximum or minimum limit of people to do the walks. However we'd prefer if you tell us the approximate number during your reservation. 

The walks have a standard route but they are always open to suggestions and requests, as long as it's possible for us. 

You can make your reservation at: aveirowalkaround@gmail.com or calling the number +351 910874687 until 6PM of the day before. You can try to make to make same-day-reservations but we can't guarantee it will be possible. 

The walks are in Portuguese or English 

They start, preferably at the Aveiro Train Station and finish at the Fish Market. 

They are completely free, however our guides accept a gratification in the end. It's up to you :)

The walks last about 2 hours

Please bring: Water, comfortable shoes and appropriate clothing (Aveiro is usually windy). If it's raining an umbrella will be useful. 

In case of heavy rain or other adverse weather our walks may be shortened or cancelled.
